PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival in Benalúa de Guadix (Spain).
Welcome dinner and Tour orientation meeting. Brief “introduction-to-landscape-photo” workshop and briefing (photo) session on the programmed routes.

Day 2: Guided photographic route of Sierra de Baza.
We lean out into Sierra de Baza, Andalusia´s third highest mountain range. Our journey begins at a comfortable rail with unbeatable views of Sierra Nevada that will lead us to one of the most beautiful and interesting places of this great Sierra: a high plateau with an extraordinary marshland, diverse flora and a unique set of authentic cortijos whose colour and flat construction reminds us of large flat rocks. Our next stop will be another jewel of this Sierra: a large abandoned mining town whose shapes and colours remind us of the Berber villages of Morocco.

Day 3: Guided photographic route through the desert landscapes of Hoya de Guadix.
We resume our journey at the village of Gorafe, following a road that leads us through impressive desert cliffs and beautiful views of this picturesque village as we enter a large desert area known as the Bad Lands. With every step the landscape becomes more spectacular with its large gullies and sandstone cliffs of different colors forming a spectacular desert. We will enjoy spectacular 360º views of five mountain ranges, most of the year covered in snow, forming an impressive contrast with the desert landscape. Enjoy the silence.

Day 4: Guided photographic route of the surroundings of Villanueva de las Torres.
On our last day on tour we enter a true oasis in the middle of the Bad Lands. Springs of thermal waters give life to a true Orchard, an oasis of peace and sensations whose magic will follow us throughout our walk. We will visit a hot spring ditch that has grown upwards naturally for thousands of years, reaching today a considerable height and forming beautiful waterfalls. We will enjoy the beauty of the endemic flora, the sight of ancient dolmens and geoglyphs of enigmatic inscriptions. A lovely walk in a truly magic place, full of amazing opportunities to challenge your photography skills. After lunch, end of Tour.
